Merry Christmas!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
2020 in Review - January - May
Nathan turns 16! He has grown so much this past year, especially in his walk with the Lord. He is still wanting to be a director, and he is still part of a film club that makes random hilarious videos. He loves music, and he spends much of times watching film critic videos or other movie evaluation videos. It is truly a joy to watch the Lord continue to raise Nathan up into the wonderful young man he is becoming. He chose to dye his hair as soon as he knew we would not be returning to his enrichment program after Spring Break. He also chose not to cut his hair until 2021, so enjoy watching his hair transition! He did get it cut once just to even things out, and then I cut the length only in December to help balance things out.
This yellow book is a collection of letters from men in Nathan's life - including the pastor of Denton Bible Church - Tommy Nelson. These letters share verses and encouragment to help Nathan as he continues to walk in the fear of the Lord as he grows up. Such a treasure!
My special valentine boys! So hanndsome!
Mission Trip to Romania. Honestly, this deserves a blog post all it's own!! This trip was carved and molded completely by the Lord, and there were so many miracle moments that he provided. As Covid began making nationwide news in March, this trip almost did not happen. Through much prayer and direct talks with the CDC, etc..., it was decided things would be fine. Our greatest concern was the country shutting down and them not being able to return. What happened? Just that! The very night the U.S. closed all borders to incoming international travel, our students arrived at the Chicago airport from Romania along with hundreds of thousands of other international travelers - all stuck! The airport was completely overwhelmed and overloaded, and the even made the news the very night Brady & Nathan were there! Somehow, they were able to get rooms for all 80 of them at the airport hotel, and they safely arrived home the next day for a full 14 day quarantine.
