SUMMER 2015

4th of JULY!!

This day in our home-town is huge with many fun

events to attend.  We all ran the 5k or 1mile walk,

went to the parade, and then the boys

participated in a cool whip eating contest.  Little C.

actually won for his age group!!  

YAY!!! 1st PLACE!! yes, he felt sick!!  :) 

A  MOST FANTASTICAL PIRATE TALE!!

Bubba B. and Bubba spent most of the summer at

rehearsals for a local acting company's play.  I think 

they both found their niche, and are now taking in 

acting class at their enrichment school.  Bubba B. was the

comedian of the show - PERFECT for him!  Bubba was the main orphan child 

and was perfectly on que each line.  Truly impressive performances for newbies!!

DAD's MINION BIRTHDAY!!!

SERVANT'S HEARTS!!

These boys spent the entire summer devoted

and committed to mowing the large lawn of a sweet

family in need.  They served both 

willingly and cheerfully each week without reward or recognition.  

It was just me (mom) and the boys and memories we'll never forget!

(We eventually had three running lawn mowers, but C. was persistent

about helping even when he had to push the lawn with this!)

SPRING 2015

VALENTINES DAY!!

Yes, I am THAT Mom.  The Mom that makes their 

kids put on nice clothes each year for a picture.

It's my Valentine treat and I hope they'll

put up with this tradition for many, many more years!  :) 

SKI TRIP TO NEW MEXICO!!

The boys have never being skiing, so our vacation 

this year was trying something new.  They LOVED it! Surprisingly,

my fearless child was very timid and my standoffish child was 

careless and free on the mountain.  Mom?? Well, I only had

5-10 nervous breakdowns and visions of them flying right off the

mountain into trees never to be seen again!  Talk about a 

prayerful vacation!! All in all, an AMAZING time!  Even more prayer 

was needed as we left Texas and drove through New Mexico

 in an ice storm, and we left NM in a snow storm that 

followed us all the way to Texas!  They didn't even miss their

 enrichment program as they had snow days the whole time we were gone!  

 

 Yes, my little guy and big guy on their own on this giant mountain.  

Breath, mom, breath!!

 

SKI school.  The only time of the day I wasn't

breathing and praying!!  :)

COMPOSER MUSEUM

It was Bubba's year to perform in the 

composer museum at their enrichment school. 

He was incredible!!

ACTING WORSHOP

Bubba loves acting and performing.  This was a 

two week workshop with an end production.  

He was the Lone Ranger and was a complete natural!!  His

teacher was impressed and commented several times that she 

hopes Disney doesn't find out about him or we're in trouble!!  haha!
