Sibling Class

Today the boys had their sibling class at the hospital where they got to learn so many things about being a Big Brother. Brady was too young to remember even being a big brother so this class was great for them! They watched a really funny video, learned how to change a diaper, feed and swaddle a baby and then took a tour of where I'll be delivering. We all had a great time and they even got to make shirts for baby Corban to wear and their very own hospital bag, blanket, wipes, diapers and baby cap. They are going to be such GREAT big brothers! So, now we are officially "ALL" ready for little Corban to arrive - any day now!! :)

Update on Corban

We had my 36 week doc apt. today and our last sonogram. Everything is looking just perfect. We got to see his face and watch him practice breathing - so cute!!! The sonogram said he was approx 6 1/2 lbs give or take a pound less, although I'm kinda hoping for the less at this point!! It also estimated my due date at Aug 9th too which is about a week earlier than expected. My blood pressure is great, my weight is great, both our hearts and health are great and he's started making his progression downward which is great too. Not as comfortable at all but still "great". OH, and he is in perfect position too! So, now it's just waiting, finishing up the last few things around here and just enjoying the next few weeks as a family of 3 before it all changes. woohoo! :) All very exciting and awesome!! Rodeo Time!

One of our favorite family traditions is the Annual 4th of July Rodeo in Christi's hometown. It's a HUGE event and Brady & Nathan both get SO excited about it every year. Especially Nathan, who absolutely loves horses, cowboys and rodeo clowns!! The beginning of the rodeo always starts with everyone just riding around the arena. This year a family friend took both boys for a ride on his horse - it was the major highlight!!! Then another close family friend brought them over to meet the rodeo clown and even got them signed autographs from him. Talk about exciting! Brady had also been practicing up on his running skills just so that he could catch the calf this year in the kids calf scramble - he was READY!!! It's kinda sad he's in competition with 100 other kids, most of them lots older! They were both kinda sad that they didn't catch the calf, but were determined to practice again for next year!! We had a WONDERFUL time hanging out with Granddaddy, Grammy, and Uncle Mike and going to the BEST rodeo in Texas!!! - at least in our opinion! 8-)
