We started our summer by spending Memorial Day at the lake/beach. We LOVE camping and going to the lake so we all had a great time. That week was a very relaxed week from finishing school and then we had a Compton family reunion with my family. It was an amazing weekend visiting.with lots of family! The boys stayed a few days with my (Christi's) parents and I spent a couple days getting things ready for a HUGE garage sale. Then the next week was also spent on prep for that sale. We made the difficult decision to empty our attic of "baby" stuff so it made for an enormous amount of sale items! It was a tough decision but we feel like the Lord has blessed us with a beautiful family and we have great joy and peace in that. We may possibly foster-to-adopt a toddler in a few years but we're pretty sure the Lord has blessed us with all the "babies" he has desired for our family. So, a sale it was!! It exceeded all expectations and more! Then this week was VBS at the church where the boys attend homeschool enrichment classes. They were so giddy on Monday as they saw SO many friends from sports and their classes. They have had a great week and got to perform for us tonight! What great little performers they were! As you can tell, we've had a pretty busy start to the summer but we've had alot of fun with later nights and a more relaxed schedule. Now it's time to head back to the lake and camping for Fathers Day! :) Below are some highlights in pictures.
