Gymnastic's Daring Duo!!

The boys are currently in their 1st Gymnastics class and they are LOVING it!!! They are the only boys in the class with 6 other girls so you can imagine the difference in personalities! They love to jump off everything and try anything without hesitation. Being a mom of no girls, it's really been interesting to watch the differences in timidity. :) The best part about the class is that they are all required to sit on a red line while eveyone else has their turn, so both Brady and Nathan are really learning the art of patience. They had the "Me, Me, Me, choose ME!" syndrome the first class, but by the 2nd class had mastered the art of waiting until they were called quietly and letting other's go first (every now and then!). Such growing experiences!

Post Hole Fun!!

These are just some funny pics of the boys as we were building a roof over the sandbox so they could enjoy it in the summer's heat!! It turned out awesome and the special shade cloth top makes it 80% cooler during the day and prevents 90% of the UVA rays while letting the breeze through!! The boys practically live in the sandbox!! It's my (Mommy's) little retreat from the heat under a shady cabana too!! HAHA :)

10 yr Anniversary in Mexico!

We just returned from celebrating our 10 year Anniversary in Playa de Carmen, Mexico! It was amazing, awesome, wonderful, spectacular, fantastic and BEAUTIFUL!! Brandon and I relaxed, relaxed and well, relaxed some more! We did spend one day and took the jungle tour, which was an adventurous ride on jet ski's through a jungle area then out into the middle of the ocean where we went snorkeling. It was definately the most adventurous thing I've done in a LONG time!! (especially with the winds we had that day - in Texas a lake advisory notice would have been issued with no jet ski's allowed!! Wohoo, it was a RUSH!) Our hotel exceeded our expectations in every way and was gorgeous, as well as our room which overlooked the ocean. When I say overlooked, seriously, our room was so close to the water that being on the second floor made it actually almost feel like you were in the ocean when you were in the room! It was just as fabulous as our honeymoon was 10 years ago!! (oh, btw, our anniversary isn't until August but we wanted to beat the hurricane season!!)
